TO ORDER STANDARD WIDTH ONLINE

Online ordering is done by the linear foot. For example, if you want a piece of 40% Aluminet that is 14 feet wide by 18 feet long select the "add to cart" button to the right of the price per lin/ft in the 40% Aluminet Cool Shade table. Then, when prompted, enter a quantity of 18. The total will be calculated for you based on the price per square foot times 14 feet wide by the length of 18 feet long.

TO ORDER NON-STANDARD WIDTH ONLINE

If you would want a non-standard width or odd sized piece such as 18 feet wide by 24 feet long then it must be cut from the next highest standard width.  In this case a standard width of 21 feet. Select the "add to cart" button to the right of the price per lin/ft and when prompted enter a quantity of 24. The total will be calculated for you based on the price per square foot times 21 feet wide by 24 feet long. After you select "Check Out" in the shopping cart menu you can enter your order information, Place a note in the "Comments/Special Delivery Information" box with the exact size of shade cloth you want. In this example it would be 18 feet wide by 24 feet long. You can request at this time that the drop (left over piece) be sent to you also.

TO ORDER DOUBLE WIDTH ONLINE

If you would want a double width, such as 40  feet wide by 68 feet long then you must seam two pieces of 20' wide shade cloth together.  In this case two standard widths of 20 feet. Select the "add to cart" button to the right price per lin/ft. When prompted enter a quantity of twice the length, or in this case 136. The total will be calculated for you based on the current price per square foot. After you select "Check Out" on the shopping cart menu and enter your order information, place a note in the "Comments/Special Delivery Information" box with the exact size of shade cloth you want. In this example it would be 40 feet wide by 68 feet long. Any combination of standard widths can be crated in this manner. A seam of 68 feet will also be required at the current price per lin/ft. TO ADD SEAMING, EDGE TAPING OR GROMMETS ONLINE

To add seaming, edge taping or grommets select the "Continue Shopping" button on the shopping cart menu that appears after you have added the shade cloth to your order. This will bring you back to the page you just ordered from. Add the number of grommets, length of seam required or length of edge taping required which appears below. After each entry, you can return to the current order page and add the next item. When done, select "Check Out" on the shopping cart menu and enter your order information. Place a note in the "Comments/Special Delivery Information" box with the exact size of shade cloth you want, how you want it taped and how you want the grommets placed.

Ordering Information and Privacy Policy

Once you have selected the items you want to purchase, you are ready to place your order. theshadeclothplace.com offers a four-step ordering process:

   1. Finalizing the items in your Shopping Cart, Check Quantity, Items, Price, (Review your order).

   2. Completing shipping and billing information, Select 'Check Out', and complete information.

   3. Submit your order

   4. Receiving an initial order confirmation.

Step 1:Shopping Cart

The shopping cart contains all the items you selected while shopping. During this step, you can add or delete items, and change quantities.

Step 2: Shipping & Billing

You are asked to provide your billing address as well as the shipping address for any gift recipients.

Step 3: Review Order

Submit your order.

Step 4: Order Confirmation

A summary and confirmation of your order will be sent to your e-mail address soon after checking the submit button. This message will have our contact information for Customer Service in case you need assistance. Within 72 hours, you will receive a final invoice for your order. You can use the order number on this final invoice to request tracking information or order status within 24 hours after your order has been placed.

Custom-made items that require production time may be billed well in advance of delivery. Please do not be concerned as this is normal for such items.

In the unusual event that we have not been notified of a backorder prior to submitting an order to a vendor for factory-direct shipment, you may be billed ahead of shipment.

The Shade Cloth Place (theshadeclothplace.com) will not be responsible for delays in processing your order if the credit card billing and shipping information that you provide does not match the information on file with your credit card company. For your own security, most credit card companies maintain an "alternate address file" of authorized shipping addresses for their cardholders. To advise your credit card company of an authorized shipping address, please phone the number on the back of your credit card and they will update your "alternate address file" promptly.

Shipping

You should expect to receive delivery within approximately 7-14 business days in the 48 contiguous states unless otherwise noted.

Canceling an Order

To cancel your order, contact ususing the information provided you on your purchase receipt, include your order number, name, billing address, and items ordered. We'll acknowledge your request upon receipt and let you know as soon as possible if we were successful in canceling an order that has not yet entered our shipping department or is on backorder.

Order Policy

Orders that are already in the shipping system cannot usually be canceled although we will make every attempt to do so at your request. The cancellation process is costly to us, so once an order has been sent to our shipping department, or transmitted to a vendor for shipment, there will be a cancellation fee of 5% of your order total if we are able to cancel your order.

Purchasing Online

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, money orders, online Checks and regular checks. please note that we wait for all checks to clear the bank before shipping your garden structure.

We will work with purchase orders - however we do require payment before shipping.

When You Receive Your Order

Do not refuse delivery for minor damage. If a package is damaged, check the contents for damage before refusing delivery. If damage appears to be minor, and only a few items need to be replaced, we recommend accepting the shipment (or at least any undamaged packages) after making note of damages on delivery receipt. Doing this will speed up the replacement process in many cases because parts can be shipped sooner and faster delivery methods can be used.

Inventory the shipment. Check the number of boxes received against the number shown on the driver's delivery sheet. If there is a shortage, write the number of missing boxes on your copy and the driver's copy of the receipt, and have the driver sign both copies.

If there is any problem with your shipment please contact us- we will quickly make any arrangements needed to fix any problems.
